Is Yola Really Free? What's the Catch?

Site building and hosting with Yola is completely free of charge. There are no subscription fees and we do not put any pop up ads on your site. We even offer you a free subdomain names to publish your sites to. You can also purchase a custom domain (.com or .net) from us for 19.95 USD per year. However, this is entirely optional. Whether you use:

1. A free subdomain

To publish your site using a free Yola subdomain name:

* Click on the second pane in the publishing dialog box. In this case your
website's address will look like this: www.yourdomain.synthasite.com

* Type your chosen domain name in the box provided.

* If the domain name you chose is available, click "Next"

Your site will be published in a few seconds and it will be available on the
internet immediately.

All the Yola site building features and our hosting is still completely free of charge.

So your website can either be completely free or it will cost you 19.95 USD, depending on which option you select.
